Prior to becoming Living renovations we were known as Cookies Construction. This was founded in July 2014 where we worked alongside franchises to construct new Builds in and around Taranaki.
We completed 20 Labour only new builds by 2018 and a few renovations for direct clients. This is where our love for renovations came from, we found the jobs far more rewarding and loved working directly with the clients.
Hello …. I’m Mack Cook Business owner/operator of Living Renovations Ltd and proud father of 2 Daughters Peyton and Maddison.
I was born in New Plymouth in 1991. My family moved to Whangarei in 1996 where I spent my primary school years then decided to move back to New Plymouth in 2002 where I spent my high school years at Inglewood High. In 2006 I decided to leave school and become a builder, from 2007-2012 I completed my apprenticeship with a local New Plymouth company doing High end renovations and 2 storey architectural homes.
During my last year of my apprenticeship I completed my own home which gave me the encouragement to go out on my own and start a business that I truly am passionate about. In my down time I enjoy riding my motocross bike, getting out and about exploring what our beautiful country has to offer.
